Incorporated in 1982 and located in Contra Costa County, the Town comprises 18 square miles with a population of approximately 43,146. Parks

The Town of Danville owns, operates and maintains over 167 acres of parkland, most of which is used for active recreation.  Six community parks which include amenities such as children’s play equipment, sports fields, picnic areas, bocce ball courts, a dog park, and walking trails. In addition, 20 acres have been improved with trails or special use facilities.
